Bloggers comment on SGI’s New Study
Here’s a preview to their articles which SGI News and Future Challenges will publish in the upcoming weeks:
What are the BRICS?
The BRICS countries are potential OECD member states which account for approximately half of the world’s population and a quarter of global economic output. The results of the SGI BRICS study offer a detailed profile of strengths and weaknesses in terms of institutional frameworks, government performance and governance capacity.
In order to find out how the finding of this new study are received on the ground by people whose daily lives are affected by policy making and governance, we’ve asked five bloggers from the BRICS countries to tell us what they think about the SGI report of their individual country:
- Elis dos Anjos (Brazil)
- Masha Egupova (Russia)
- Ajinkya Pawar (India)
- Dandan Wang (China)
- Jan Hofmeyr (South Africa)
